The Associate Dean of Nursing provides administrative leadership and operational support for the nursing program while assisting in the coordination of academic and clinical activities. This position supports faculty, students, and program initiatives to ensure compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. The Associate Dean also assists with program administration, clinical coordination, and continuous improvement efforts across campuses and clinical sites.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Administration
Assist with the administration and daily operations of the nursing program
Support compliance with institutional, state, and accreditation standards
Coordinate program activities across campuses and clinical sites
Assist with program planning, evaluation, and continuous improvement initiatives
Faculty and Student Support
Provide support and guidance to nursing faculty and staff
Assist with student success initiatives and program-related concerns
Collaborate with faculty to maintain academic and clinical program quality
Clinical and Operational Support
Assist in the coordination of clinical placements and relationships with healthcare partners
Travel between campuses and clinical sites as needed
Support departmental operations and other assigned administrative duties
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
Master of Science in Nursing required
Two years of administrative and/or teaching experience in a higher education nursing program (ADN, ASN, or BSN)
Current, active, unrestricted Florida Registered Nurse license or eligibility for Florida licensure required
Minimum of three years of clinical experience as a registered nurse required
Ability to pass employment verification, reference checks, and background screening
Ability to travel between campuses and clinical sites required
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Knowledge of nursing education programs and clinical operations
Ability to communicate effectively with students, faculty, staff, and clinical partners
Strong organizational and administrative skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
Proficiency in computer applications and office technology
Ability to travel between campuses and clinical sites
Ergonomic Requirements
Ability to work in an office and educational environment
Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers and phones
