The Federal Medical Center (FMC), located in Fort Worth, Texas is an Administrative Security Level Institution in the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Our mission is to provide medical care to a diverse inmate population while operating a safe and secure correctional facility. We house approximately 1,650 inmates and have a staffing compliment of 360 correctional professionals including but not limited to: Correctional Officers; Physicians; Nurses; Teachers; General Maintenance; Accountants; and many more.
