Company Overview

Greater Baden Medical Services, Inc. (GBMS), a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), has been providing primary care to the Southern Maryland medically underserved community since 1972. Services have expanded significantly with time in response to community needs. GBMS is the go to health care access point in its service area. We are proud to provide the same high quality health care to the insured and uninsured. Currently GBMS sees over 15,000 individuals totaling over 41,000 encounters per year. GBMS’ services are provided at six (6) clinical sites and 3 WIC locations in Prince George’s County, Charles County, and St. Mary’s County, Maryland to meet the needs of medically underserved and physician shortage areas. We are governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the majority of who are actual users of our health services.

We are Joint-Commissioned Accredited and have been recognized for our ability to excel in providing safe and effective care at the highest quality and value. Our patients are proud to call Greater Baden their Medical Home! We completed the rigorous process and are recognized as Level 3 by NCQA for Systematic use of Patient-Centered Coordinated Care Management Processes.
