Mahaska Health is a Critical Access Hospital in Southeastern Iowa which consists of 25 beds, and an attached Medical Group that is owned by the hospital. This is not your typical CAH. Mahaska Health employs over 450 employees, and offers appointments in the Medical Group to see most types of specialists so patients don’t have to travel for specialized care.
