Company History

When area citizens formed a committee in 1922 and began cultivating the idea for a Wadena hospital, they did so with the idea that the hospital would benefit and enrich the health of all residents throughout the region, regardless of race or creed. Ground broke in September of 1923 and on January 30, 1925, Wesley Hospital opened for business.

Now, more than 90 years later, Tri-County Health Care holds fast to those original ideas and values as it seeks to improve the health of the communities it serves.
